A village of 5000 is the smallest & most economical size
Our thesis is that we need at least one community of a size adequate to provide "full-services", to serve as a demonstration role-model, showing that all is not lost. A beginning, illustrating that communities are feasible that can reach the level of human-ecosystems, in tune with their environment and neighbors of all species. There is some historical indication that about 5,000 is an adequate size even in our times to provide all the expected functions of a town. The town will be composed of multiple dyads variously configured as needed.
